Return Policy:

Manufacturers carried by Sutton Strings have been carefully selected based on a solid reputation for fine craftsmanship and the exclusive use of quality materials. Buyers can rest assured that each and every product undergoes thorough inspection and quality control measures throughout the production process. When instruments are received by Sutton Strings, they are immediately checked for any anomalies or flaws to guarantee that you receive the best possible product.

Shipping Policy
Sutton Strings uses Fedex Home Delivery and Fedex Ground for a shipping carrier unless otherwise requested. Products ship within 1-2 business days after payment is received. Tracking numbers will be emailed to the customer within 24 hours after the shipment departs. All guitars are packed in bubble wrap and protected beyond standard shipping practices. The odds of a guitar being damaged in transit are extremely low and we have not had to make a damage claim to date.

Return Policy
If the product you ordered from Sutton Strings does not meet your expectations for any reason, the buyer has 48 hours (weekend days included in trial period) to notify us that he/she would like to make a return. The product must be shipped by the next business day and the tracking number must be provided to Sutton Strings. All shipping charges (both ways) will be absorbed by the buyer. Once received, all returns will be carefully inspected for any damages incurred before a refund is granted. If there are any obvious damage, nicks, dings or signs of excessive use (that has compromised the “new” condition of the product), a refund will not be granted and the product will be returned to the customer at his/her own expense.

If the instrument is damaged while in the hands of the shipping agent, please contact us immediately.

Down Payments and Layaways
A down-payment on a product currently in stock at Sutton Strings cannot be refunded under any circumstances. This applies to additional “layaway” payments made towards the full purchase price.

Special Orders
A special order consists of an instrument that has been custom built for the customer or is a model that is not currently a part of Sutton Strings’ inventory line. A 50% non-refundable deposit is required for all special orders. Refunds cannot be processed for special orders under any condition.

Special orders can take up to 6 months to reach your door. A delivery date can never be guaranteed due to the complexities of international commerce and the many variables in hand-crafted instrument production schedules. Sutton Strings will provide you with order status updates periodically.

Privacy Policy
Sutton Strings is committed to protecting your privacy. We may collect personally identifiable information when you visit our site. We also automatically receive and record information on our server logs from your browser including your IP address, cookie information and the page(s) you visited. We will not sell your personally identifiable information to anyone.

Security Policy
Your payment and personal information is always safe with Sutton Strings. We use the latest Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) technology to ensure each transaction is secure and safe. Information such as credit card numbers, names and addresses cannot be viewed by others.
