Indian Rosewood / Bearclaw Sitka Spruce Model A #2007-42

Flame Ebony armrest rollover and binding with dyed wood red/black purfling on the top and back. The rosette is paua abalone with red/black purfling. Headstock mermaid inlay in abalone, white mother of pearl and yellow mother of pearl. Short scale (24.9") with a 1 3/4" nut width. Gold Gotoh 510 tuning machines, gold strap buttons (tailblock of guitar and heel of neck). Mahogany neck with maple laminate, ebony fingerboard and ebony bridge. In addition to the armrest rollover, this guitar is wedged for a more comfortable playing position. A real player's guitar between the short scale, rollover, wedge and the stainless steel fretwire. Very responsive with great sustain and clarity. This instrument has been used as a demo guitar for Oriskany in their travels and has a few minor scratches. Being sold as "lightly used".

The rosette is paua abalone with red/black purfling, and a mermaid inlayed out of abalone and mother of pearl in the ebony headstock. Short scale (24.9") with a 1 3/4" nut width. Chrome Gotoh 510 tuning machines, chrome strap buttons (tailblock of guitar and heel of neck). Mahogany neck with maple laminate, ebony fingerboard and ebony bridge. Beautifully sequence matched mahogany with rich amber hues. Unlike most mahogany guitars, we have not dyed or stained the pore fill, so the mahogany has a rich golden sheen. Tonally, a lot of people are surprised by the depth of the sustain. All Mahogany guitars have not always had the best reputation, but this guitar has made several people reconsider the merits of this combination with pleasant results!

Flame Koa binding with natural wood bloodwood/maple purfling on the top, back and sides. Inlays are an abalone rosette with bloodwood/maple purfling and an abalone celtic knot inlay on the ebony headstock. Short scale (24.9") with a 1 3/4" nut width. Gold Gotoh 510 tuning machines, gold strap buttons (tailblock of guitar and heel of neck). We used Gold fretwire on this guitar. Mahogany neck with maple laminate, ebony fingerboard and bridge. Very warm, rich tones with a lot of overtones, well suited for fingerstyle playing. Wonderful for the living room or coffeehouse.
